Typhoon Nangka is currently on a collision course with Japan, with the super typhoon expected to hit later today or tomorrow.
Nangka’s maximum sustained winds are estimated to be 150 mph at this time, making Nangka the equivalent of a high-end Category 4 storm on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale.
Delays in shipping are expected in Japan as well as China as Typhoon Chan-hom is headed for landfall in eastern China this weekend.
