About Us

A Family Business with a Global Reach

To us, you’re more than just a shipping number.

With over 35 years of experience, EES Shipping is one of Australia’s major players in the international freight forwarding market. Our expertise and understanding of the overseas markets mean we can offer the most knowledgeable service, catered to each individual client.

We work with clients from small to medium businesses to import and export their products to wholesalers, mining companies and everything in between. You name it, we’ve likely shipped it!

What We Do

People-Centred Approach

While our wealth of knowledge, years of experience and exceptional business acumen add up to an incredibly successful and capable business, EES remains a family business, focusing on people and service.

People are at the core of what we do, and this fact isn’t lost on us. This people-centred approach starts with our staff. Our business works because of them and their approach to their work, which is why we want to show our appreciation and make work a place they want to come to.

Our history

Founded in 1986 by the Hack Family, EES Shipping started off as a humble shipping operation in Fremantle. As a second-generation company run by three brothers, we now operate out of our extensive premises in Cockburn.

The business has evolved over the years, and we now employ more than 25 staff and ship large and often tricky consignments worldwide. This kind of expertise can only come from years of experience – living and breathing the shipping industry.

As seen on

We know importing and exporting inside out, which is why EES is the voice of the industry. We’re often invited to commentate on issues in the media and we sit within many professional groups and on boards to help educate and advocate for the freight forwarding industry.

We’ve developed many relationships over the years with local customs agents, freight forwarders, international removalists, manufacturers and government departments. These networks have helped us expand our services into more countries with frequent dispatches, minimal transit times and competitive freight costs.
