Super Typhoon Vongfong is moving closer to Japan and has been labelled as the most intense storm this year.
It has been rapidly gaining strength over the Western Pacific, with winds gusting up to 250km/h.
Forecasters are predicting that this storm could reach the equivalent of a category 5 hurricane, with winds reaching 260km/h.
