Industry bodies have received advice from Patrick Terminals that after a day and half of talks at the FWC (Fair Work Commission), the MUA (Maritime Union of Australia) announced it would immediately end industrial action at Patrick terminals in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Fremantle.
While providing a temporary reprieve to hopefully assist industry to recover from port congestion in the months ahead, the outcome provides no guarantee of future industrial relations disruption.
Back logs that have been created at all terminals will now be cleared. Please be patient during this time.
