Please take note of this updated packing declaration template (New Packing Declaration) which will come into effect as of the 17th June 2017.
This change is due to the restriction placed on the term “prohibited” in relation to packing material.
This has now been replaced by the “unacceptable packaging statement”.
The Department of Agriculture and Water Resources will continue to accept the prohibited packaging statement until 16th June 2017.
If you are not already using the new packing declaration template as of yet, please refer to the new packing declaration for future trade.
Please ensure all of your shippers are aware of this new format.
