The 18th summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will be held from June 9-10 in Qingdao, East China’s Shandong Province.
During the SCO summit period, security will become increasingly stringent in Qingdao region and the surrounding areas which has a great influence on freight and passenger transport.
The local government has announced temporary traffic control measures to implement from May 30 to June 11.
In brief, it is:
- The prohibition of dangerous chemicals transportation vehicles from May 30 to June 11.
- The prohibition of transportation vehicles, special operating vehicles, motorcycles, minibuses from June 6-11.
