Roadworks to commence in North Fremantle

Modifications to the intersection of Tydeman Road and Napier Road in North Fremantle will begin in early May.

The changes are needed to provide safe access for trucks entering and departing an area of Fremantle Ports-owned land just to the west of the Railway Hotel.

The work will involve construction of a new entry and exit, relocation of existing services, installation of stormwater drainage, modifications to traffic lights and signals and construction of a retaining wall.

A traffic management specialist will manage the traffic through the intersection for the duration of the works, with the project expected to be completed in approximately two months.

Delays are expected in the area.
