There certainly is some fantastic news coming out of the EES office this week.
Tracy Ferguson from Melling & Associates (who co-share our Cockburn Central office with us) has been announced to be a one of four recipients of the Ray Melling Student Award for 2015. Tracy has been nominated to receive this award by three of her facilitators and will be accepting it at the annual CBFCA (Customs Brokers and Forwarders Council of Australia) annual Christmas Function on December the 9th.
Tracy has been studying hard this year, completing a huge task of nine units. EES Customs Brokers Phil Gray and David Gibson have also been assisting her with her study.
West Australian students completing the National Customs Brokers Course with the CBFCA (Customs Brokers and Forwarders Council of Australia) have received awards that were first made possible by a bequeathment of a respected member of our industry, Vaughn Boalch. The award now continues under the banner of the “Ray Melling Student Award” after Jeanette Melling, wife of the late Ray Melling, made a donation to the CBFCA to have it continued.
A big congratulations to Tracy on this commendable achievement.
