Earlier this month, Phil Gray, EES Customs Manager, was fortunate to meet with the new CEO of the Customs Brokers and Forwarders Council of Australia (CBFCA), Clare Murray.
The location of the introduction was an informal lunch in South Perth along with a few other business members of the CBFCA.
Clare Murray took over the reigns of CEO of the CBFCA on the 1st June and moves into the organisation with vast experience in various areas. Quoting from the Lloyds List, Ms Murray said that she was attracted by a variety of elements of the job including membership, industry advocacy and the fact that the organization is highly regarded by government and industry.
The views from all members of the CBFCA is very important to Ms Murray and she is looking forward to continuing the good work that the former CEO started.
We would like to thank John Park from the CBFCA for the invitation to this luncheon and also Clare Murray for her time.
EES look forward to working closely with Ms Murray in the future on all matters.
