The 1st March 2014 is a memorable day for EES.
On this day, we are celebrating EES having our Customs Brokers license for 10 years.
10 years ago, Phil Gray (Customs Manager) and Geoff Hack (Managing Director) decided to branch out and start EES’ own customs brokerage arm. With much hard work and perseverance, we are pleased to announce that this venture has been one of the best additions to the premium service EES Shipping can offer.
Phil’s (over) 40 years experience in freight forwarding and Customs ensures EES’ customs department runs smoothly and keeps up to date with all international customs procedures, duty concessions and tariff issues. In addition, Phil and Geoff are active members in CBFCA (Customs Brokers & Forwarders Council of Australia) activities, functions and forums which aim to improve the industry as a whole and protect all involved in international trade. This was energised late last year by EES Shipping being awarded the CBFCA Regional Award for commitment to the industry… A testament to the hard work and aptitude of our brokerage arm.
