€1.75m worth of cocaine has been detected in a shipping container that arrive in Cork, Ireland from Colombia.
The port of Cork nestled in the lush countryside of Ireland.
Customs and excise officers were suspicious of the container based on the cargo manifest. A further, closer, examination of the shipping container found 25kgs of cocaine stashed inside.

A number of arrests are expected stemming from this find.
Police have advised that the monetary value of the seizure could increase depending on the impurity of the cocaine.
The drugs are thought to have originated in Medellin area of Colombia (if you are wondering where you have heard this name from, it’s more than likely Entourage..)
