It’s that time of the year again as we move closer to the annual Australian Shipping and Maritime Industry Awards!
This year we are ecstatic to share some fantastic news with you. Not one, but two of our valued staff members have been announced as finalists in two different award categories.
For the third time running, Phil Gray, EES Customs Manager is a finalist in the Customs Broker of the Year category.
“This award will be judged on the basis of excellence both in customer service and also in regulatory compliance in the areas of customs, biosecurity and transport security. Judges will be looking entries for that clearly demonstrate that the nominee goes beyond the call of duty for their customers and also achieves everyday excellence.”
Phil has recently had an advancement in status with the Customs Brokers and Forwarders Council of Australia (CBFCA) to become a Fellow.
At last year’s Shipping Awards Phil was presented with a Highly Commended in this category.
Geoff Hack, EES Shipping Managing Director, has been named as a finalist for the Maritime Service Award Category.
