Please be advised on the implementation of the GST regime effective 1stJuly 2017 for all India shipments.
GST is expected to rollout from 01/07/2017 and hence it is critical for all our clients to be ready for a seamless transition to this GST regime.
While its needless to state that Shipping services will also fall under GST, please refer to below tables for your ease of reference.
No GST will be applicable on Local Charges for Import Collect, Export Prepaid and Elsewhere Payable outside India.
NOTE: If All In Freight ( Ocean Freight + THC + DOC + BUC + PSS + Haulage Rail/Truck) is offered, the GST of 18% is Applicable
Liner Detention Charges will attract 18% GST
Any other charges NOT Listed in the Ocean Freight will attract 18% GST
