It’s not long to go until we celebrate Easter!
We have all been holiday overloaded here with Christmas and then Chinese New Year but we’re always looking ahead at the next holiday that will cause a headache in the world of logistics.
Vessels still arrive during this four day holiday. Wharves will still charge storage and most shipping lines will still be charging detention/demurrage within this period.
Now is the time to ensure that if you have planned for any containers to arrive into port between the 19th April to the 22nd April that you are prepared. To make things a bit more challenging – the 25th April is also a public holiday – honouring ANZAC Day
Take the time now to put these dates into your calendar ensuring that all documents / original documents are chased prior to closures. Making sure that you have advised our office of delivery address is also important.
