As we set to draw 2019 to a close our thoughts are beginning to turn to Christmas giveaways this year!
For 2019 EES have selected another premium West Australian winery – Bella Ridge Estate. Located in the Swan Valley, Bella Ridge Estate is a family owned and operated business – just like we are.
Bella Ridge Estate embraces the moto – great wine begins in the vineyard! The vineyards orientation and excellent soil, along with a great mix of old vines, makes Bella Ridge Estate wines perfect for any occasion.
The staff at EES have been knee deep in the joys of peak season for awhile now, so the office tasters were eager to take a sip of the range that was on offer.

Bella Ridge Estate Trebbiano
This refreshingly crisp white wine bought a smile to everyone’s faces. The Trebbiano was labelled as a perfect summer wine, that would pair beautifully with cheese and crackers. There’s a subtle hint of honey – and it also displayed the perfect balance of stonefruits and pear.
Bella Ridge Estate Malbec
This light and spicy red wine was noted to have a long finish. The feminine and delicate flavours would compliment lamb very well.
The office was also fortunate enough to taste Bella Ridges’ exclusive premium range: 2011 Chenin Blanc & 2010 Shiraz
Firstly, the 2011 Chenin Blanc. This is regarded by several wine identities as Australia’s Best Chenin Blanc and we can see why and this …. was certainly our crowd favourite – light and buttery with so many layers. It had a crisp and smooth finish along with generous tropical fruit and citrus flavours.
Winding up the tasting was the 2010 Shiraz. This gorgeous deep dark red was smooth and mature with peppery plum and coffee aromas. It has aged beautifully! A well balanced, smooth red …. A definite must try!
