EES Shipping Pty Ltd has been advised via the Department of Agriculture that the Community and Public Sector Union (CPSU) will have periods of industrial action across different areas of the departments operations on the 17,18,21,22,23,24,25,26,27, 28 and 29th of September 2015.
The area that is of concern to import cargo is the four hour nation wide protected industry action by the Assessment Service Group (ASG). This will run from 1:00pm until 5:00pm this Thursday 24th September.
What does this mean to you?
We have been advised that virtually no quarantine entries will be processed nationally during this time. It has also been pointed out that after this period it is expected that there will be a backlog and delays in processing. Please note that these delays are out of EES’ control.
