On Tuesday 8th September Brian Hack (EES Director / General Manager) and Shaun Hack (Sales/Accounts Support) attended an seminar on the ever-important subject of Cyber Security. Held at the prestigious Western Australia Club, Brian and Shaun listened to guest speakers Gary Gardiner (Fortinet) and Keiren Cook (Kaspersky Lab) discuss the latest threat to company data and intellectual property.
This event was hosted by EES’ I.T. consultants, Accelerate Group. One of the primary reasons for the seminar was to increase market awareness of cyber security along with ensuring both administrators and users are aware of their responsibilities.
EES Management and staff attended as a continued effort to keep abreast of the current challenges and best practices on this issue.
