Late last week we reported on a collision involving two container ships that resulted in both vessels becoming engulfed in flames. This all happened at Malaysia’s Port Klang . Both fires are have since been put out, with repairs being made to any damages.
We thought that we would share with your some of the amazing shots of the fire fighting efforts that went on to extinguish the blaze there is also a few pictures of the damage.
It is not yet known how the container ships collided in the harbour – investigations continue.
Some websites have made claims that even though there was a pilot assisting in the berthing of the San Felipe, that the Russian Master took over the vessel, misjudging the wind and current speeds, thus resulting in the accident.

The damages to both vessels were relatively minor, given the intensity of the flames.
