Peak volumes of containers are still moving through the empty container parks (ECPs).
It is taking longer, due to daytime pressures, for transport operators to return containers.
As an importer you can help by:
(i) giving EES ample notice of the availability of containers for empty return, and
(ii) considering measures to allow transport operators to return containers after regular hours.
Demands on container parks are significantly reduced from the late afternoon into the early evening so consider arranging for early evening container returns.
