EES are moving into a brand new office soon. Whilst the offices are shiny, spacious and completely functional, some of us still dream of shipping container offices.
We thought that today we would show you this fantastic new space that has just been constructed in Torigoe, Tokyo. It’s a fantastic piece of cargotecture, combining clever architecture ability with the use of two re-purposed forty foot shipping containers.
Named CC4441, the top container is the office area (also known as C-ONE), whilst the bottom container (C-TWO) has been sliced in two and angled. This provides support to the top container, and also allows there to be a small courtyard separating the two areas.
CC4441 plans to host art exhibits and become a hub for local arts and design.
