We reported at the end of November that Tracy Ferguson from R.Melling and Associates (co-sharer of our Cockburn Central offices) received nomination for the Ray Melling Student Achievement Award for 2015.
On Thursday night, 9th December, at the annual CBFCA (Customs Brokers and Forwarders Council of Australia) Christmas Function, Tracy, along with three others, were presented with this coveted award.
Tracy and her mum, Jeanette Melling, all smiles after receiving the presentation.
When asked how she felt to receive the award, Tracy commented “After a year of juggling work and family commitments my dedication to study for my Diploma in Customs Broking has paid off being awarded the Ray Melling Achievement Award after being nominated by 3 of my facilitators. I am very humbled to receive this award as Ray was somebody that I always looked up to and hope that one day I can quote the Customs Tariff off the top of my head while walking the streets of Fremantle like I remember he used to!”
